WFH getting lonely? We built a Discord for co-working, PC gaming and actual genuine interaction.
A few of us were getting pretty burned out on the isolation, so we put together a Discord server. It is basically half virtual office, half gaming hub. We just wanted a place to hang out with normal people, get some work done during the day, and blow off steam at night.
Here is what we have going on:
- Co-working channels: We use these for body doubling, casual chatting while clearing emails, or just sitting on mute so we do not feel entirely cut off from the world.
- Gaming: Mostly PC. We play a lot of Dota, Valorant, Phasmophobia, and whatever random Steam co-op games we happen to pick up on sale. We are always looking for people to fill out a lobby.
- The vibe: We are big on banter and messing around, but it is strictly a safe space. No toxic edge-lord behavior. It is just a group of adults trying to unwind after a long shift.
We're so diverse from different region. So far 4 times na nag-meet and out of town.
