I'm running 25.10. I have started getting notices from KDED that 26.04 is available and I'll stop getting updates (including security fixes) in 53 days, which works out to July 9, 2026. It looks like 26.04.1 is scheduled to be released on August 4. This means there's a gap of about a month between the date 25.10 is no longer supported and the date I can upgrade to 26.04.1.

I can upgrade to 26.04 now, but I'd prefer to upgrade to 26.04.1 since dot releases clean up a lot of the .0 release issues. Is it safe to upgrade to 26.04, or should I wait until 26.04.1, knowing that I won't be getting security fixes for a month?
