Bifurcator>Repeater all day

I've seen nonstop comments on how amazing the Repeater Crossbow is, but this gun is S Tier and the comparison isn't close.

I don't even have to aim. I shoot, the bullets spread into 7 other arrows, and heat seek to the nearest target while I stand behind a pillar. Shoot a bunch, and you got 30 arrows just scanning the room killing everything.

The satisfaction of knowing the hours put in was worth it

The deaths. The frustration. The starting over and going through Biomes you've already cleared countless times just to have a better chance. Eventually, you become the Overlord and they are stuck in the room with you.

Keep grinding Enforcers.

I thought this weapon was trash

I mean, yes, up until a certain point, there are more viable options. But damn. Once you unlock the teleport melee ability, the Shotgun is easily one of the most fun weapons in the game. If you invested in increased melee damage to a staggered target, it's a wrap.

Even if you don't have the teleport melee ability, invest in that skill and watch the one hits follow.

Well, this was a down high

I was today years old when I realized you are absolutely forced to return to the Passage after the Architect fight no matter what.

I started from Biome 1, on a mission to get as powerful as I could for the Biome I hadn't completed. I was juiced. Had a Myriad Chakram weapon that was insane. Clear the Architect (low health from a bug that didn't show enemy health bar depleting, so I was going ham thinking I was boned no matter what and played reckless)

Only to find out no matter what, you gotta return. Lvl 65 efficiency, rolling through mobs like nothing. If this is a "rouge-lite" game, why are they forcing you to reset after that long of a run? Definitely a major let down. 2 hours burned.
