Accidentally double-booked the same journey with Trenitalia & Italo — what are my options?

Hi everyone,

I accidentally booked two train tickets for the same journey on 4 October — one with Trenitalia and one with Italo.

Route: Rome Termini → Venice Santa Lucia

Date: 4 October 2026

Passengers: 2

I only need one of the tickets, and neither ticket has been used.

Could someone advise me on what my options are?

\* Can either ticket be cancelled or refunded?

\* If a ticket is non-refundable, can the date/time or passenger details be changed?

\* Are Trenitalia or Italo tickets transferable to another passenger?

I’m mainly trying to avoid losing the value of the second ticket if there is any legitimate option available.

Thanks for any advice!

UK E-VISA status

Hi Everyone,

I would appreciate your guidance regarding my UK Visitor Visa application.

My wife and I submitted our UK visa applications, and our biometrics were completed on 13 May 2026 at the VFS Delhi office. We self-uploaded all the required supporting documents during the application process.

We are currently awaiting a decision on our applications. It has been approximately three weeks since our biometrics appointment, but neither of us has received any email communication regarding the status or decision of our visa applications.

Could anyone please advise whether this processing time is normal, or if there is any additional action we need to take? If follow-up is required, whom should we contact?

Additionally, we recently created our UKVI accounts. However, when checking our visa status online, we receive the message: “We cannot show proof of your status.”

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or could you please advise what this message indicates?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
