Is $139 for Prime worth it for grocery delivery?

Putting aside from the moral implications of Amazon (which I will weigh separately) could the $139 a year be worth it or maybe costco instead?

I have CPTSD+ADHD so I often rely on the grocery delivery to actually save money. I have things well calibrated to the $25 minimum and I also use it for tv comfort shows too even though I like Netflix a lot better. The thing with ADHD is going to the grocery store scrambles my brain so I often buy the wrong things or more than I need but online is perfect because it is easier to search for what I need and compare pricing. I mostly shop at Aldi or the local ethnic store when I do, or the local foodbank.

I am solo with my dog so buying in bulk might not be worthwhile. But might be worthit for chicken salad+croissant combo with their chickens.

What do you guys think? Justifiable?

Can we talk about Washing Soda for a minute?

Forgive me if this is an old hack and I am just getting wise to it. I grew up pretty neglected so I am ignorant about so much basic household stuff. I stumbled upon washing soda in a recipe for making my own laundry detergent (I had a really good pine smelling soap I wanted to use instead of the hyper fragranced stuff in stores). I bought it and abandoned the project and forgot about it.

Now I had a bout of depression resurgence and no dishwasher and my bath and kitchen were getting gross and frankly shameful. Dishes piling up and even if I washed them with dish soap they never felt as clean or sanitized as from a dishwasher. Then I found this powder again. I put a teaspoon of dawn and 2.5 of the washing soda in one of my sinks with super hot water (similar to what you would do with sani or degreaser in a restaurant setup). And soaking or dipping my dishes in there cleans instantly with minimal scrubbing. I had pans with all kinds of black stuff burnt on the bottom come out brand new with only a little scrub. I have used similar formulas on the toilet, my whole bathroom, counters, even cabinet fronts. I've used it to soak gunk off burner covers and renew my whole stove.

Am also learning on uses for borax powder and I am elated. Feels like a major breakthrough even though it might just be remedial stuff. I swear if you have these two powders (washing soda and borax) plus dawn and white vinegar in your house you can clean ANYTHING. I might try the windows next.

Each big ol box is less than 5 dollars where I live and I don't miss any of the fancier cleaners at all.
