Is it normal to find being a practice assessor/supervisor absolutely exhausting?

I’ve never had a bad or unkind student, if anything 95% of my students have been very keen and interested in learning but I find teaching/explaining everything I do and the reasoning behind it SO tiring. My brain seems to find it harder to teach than to be a nurse.

Adult nurses - do you feel confident managing mentally unstable patients in an acute hospital setting?

Coming across more patients with mental health conditions who will self-harm, attempt suicide, have non-epileptic seizures or require physical restraints on the ward. Feel like my training in mental health at uni was severely lacking if not non-existent.

My puppy is scared of her dog walker

1 year old working cocker spaniel. Just recently started with a dog walker - been on two walks. She’s usually pretty wary of strangers but the dog walker says my pup is terrified of her and if she doesn’t warm up to her she may not be able to continue her walks. Just wanting some advice on how I can help my shy girl!

Really want her to be able to go out and socialise with other dogs on a group walk rather than solo walks. She’s pretty happy to sniff/play with dogs but skittish around new humans.

Is my puppy hungry or greedy?

My 1 year old pup has recently started nudging me and then walking to the door, when I follow her she takes me to her food bin/treat cupboard.

She gets fed twice a day - the recommended amount on the bag for her weight as well as toppings and treats or chews.

She’s pretty active and on her walks she runs for about 75% of the time we’re out.

Should I be worried she’s hungry or is it just learned behaviour?
