Carte de Sejour consultant/ assistance - paid

I’m looking for referrals to an agency or consultant who assists with Carte de Sejour applications. I’m not a native French speaker, and in my case, I need to be extra sure the application is correct the first time it’s sent in - I have mandatory travel outside France regularly, and cannot risk being barred from returning to my family.

My wife and kids are all EU citizens, we have an apartment, banking, savings, insurance etc. All that is taken care of. I’m basically looking to pay a reasonable fee for guidance and hand holding by a local expert. I don’t apply for a long stay visa ahead of time as I have an EU spouse - I tried , and was rejected.

And yes, I have found many places online that offer these services. The last quote I got was nearly €5000, and given the limited scope of what I need, I know that is ridiculous.

So if anyone out there has had a good experience and can’t send a recommendation, I’d appreciate it.

Heat wave- Haussmann apartments

All, I’m set to move into a 3rd floor Haussmann apartment with no AC in Paris in August. I’ve got two young kids who’ve grown up in a redwood forest ( hot nights are not a thing.)

My thinking has been that large stone buildings stay relatively cool, but with this kind of prolonged heat and little night relief, I’m worried.

For those of you in similar apartments, how are you coping? What is it like?

Thanks !

Freight receiving firm in Paris

All,

I am moving to Paris in August. 16th arrondissement.

I want to ship a single crate of personal goods to the city ahead of my arrival, and am looking for a company that can receive the crate, store it for 1-2 weeks, then deliver it to my apartment.

I am aware of the end to end services that do this, but the cost is high. I ship freight all over the world for my business, so I prefer to arrange it myself.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Thank you
