I HATE my husband’s dog.

Hi all, I desperately need to get this off of my chest. My husband and I have been together 6 years, the dog was 2 when we got together. I used to like dogs as I was raised with them, but my resentment has grew over the years, especially after I had my children. My husbands dog is a 9 year old shit bull (pitbull) and lab mix, he found her in a trash can as a puppy. She is a morbidly obese, stupid bitch. She is so bitchy and has bitten me before because I tried to get the blanket she was lying on so I could take it to the washing machine. She has went after a neighbor’s young girl before because she was walking down the street, and nearly attacked a man that was walking his dog down the street. She is has a terrible mean streak and my husband thinks it’s funny. My husband insists on this bitch sleeping in our bed even though he knows I absolutely hate it because she smells terrible and snores so loudly that it keeps me awake. Here lately she’s been doing things that she knows better than doing, such as pissing and shitting in the house and getting in the trash because she’s a fat, greedy bitch. When I’ve tried to nicely communicate with him , he snaps and says I’m a terrible person because I hate dogs and that I’m a selfish bitch that never wants anyone else happy. I would love to leave him but currently cannot because I’m a SAHM with no income or friends/family to help. I don’t want to subject my children to homelessness, but I do have a plan for the future. The only thing that brings me peace is that this dog is so fat (I wish I could post a picture) her life span is shortened greatly. I don’t wish dogs harm, but I simply do not like them or want them in my presence.

Eastern spade foot question for people that also own them.

I have a juvenile eastern spadefoot toad that I raised from a tadpole, he completed his metamorphosis early June and has grown rapidly ever since—much faster than my fowlers toadlets. He stays burrowed 99.8% of the time, I literally never see him out. Similar to my Kaloula pulchra although she will come out to eat. This toad will not, although I offer food daily, little guy loves his burrows. He appears as healthy as can be, but I am concerned that he isn’t eating enough. Should I “dig him up” and then offer food, or would that be too stressful? Will he come out when he wants to, so should I just leave the feeders in the enclosure for him to hunt?. TIA! Pic of him in July for tax, I don’t have very many good pics of him😆
