Does anyone know the policies for promoting things on campus?
I’m a first year transfer, and at my cc people that were posting/promoting things were told to go to the student life office to get the postings approved or to sign in as a petitioner/vendor. Does UCR have a similar policy? I tried looking it up but couldn’t really find much besides the posting policy (which has to get approved by student life?).
For additional context, I just got an off campus internship as a campus ambassador and I need to promote a specific site on campus. The organization encourages that we table to promote but they also want us to email departments and try to send out emails to large groups of people and promote in clubs/classes. I don’t want to do any of this until I know whether or not it’s against the rules, but I just can’t find the policy anywhere.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I only have until election day to get 500 site visits and I’m scrambling, so I might go to the career center and see if they know what to do since it’s job related 😭
