Is this a juvenile hooded crow? I can't tell the other crows apart that come to my feeder, but this one looks a bit different.

Authors writing bait and switch love interests are gaslighting their audience
I like the plot to be unpredictable, but every plot twist should be announced beforehand by the author. I need them to tell me specifically which characters to root for, otherwise it's a waste of emotional investment and I will sue them for emotional distress.
