I have family history of heart disease and congestive heart failure. My LDL today is 139, HDL 38, Cholesterol 197. My doctor brought up possibly putting me on a statin given the elevated LDL and family history.

I’m not sure if I should, I know that I am not doing good with my diet and exercise though. Any advice would be great!
