Kanaka Maoli Flag, featuring the original seal from the Royal Arms of the Kingdom of Hawaii

I'd like to submit this version of the Kanaka Maoli Flag, I don't know if I can, but it can be included as benchmark, if possible, because the original (according to wikipedia) shield is so beautiful that the flag should have it, usually I see the Kanaka Maoli flag with other less pretty versions of the shield.

Illinois state flag redesign

I wanted to make a more conservative redesign that I usually do for Illinois that maintain the seal, but with a more authentic background than the white plain. So I chosen a tricolor of green (representing the prairies once Illinois is known as the "Prairie State"), blue (once Illinois has a big history of defending the Union in the American Civil War, also the state is the "Land of Lincoln") and beige (based on the hides that the Illinois Confederation used to paint).

Oklahoma flag redesign

White and green are the official colors of the state, so I got rid of the light blue. The shield is now on a quartered pattern, chosen precisely because this way the olive branch is over all white, ensuring color contrast, but we can interpret it as a symbol of the state's history, which was created by the merging of several territories over time.

Idaho flag redesign - submission nº 1

This flag is a revisited version of an older redesign of mine.

Like in the first version, the star is based on the Star Garnet, the Idaho's state gem, found only in two places of the world, India and Idaho (Gem State). But now I added a tan color that alludes to the color of the potatos, once the state is a big producer of them.

The tan bend represents the Snake River Valley and the green triangles represent the mountains that surrounding it, as well the abundance of nature of the state.

"Black Hills Flag" - this flag features small black and gold chevrons to represent the Black Hills, the gold sun and the blue background come from the current flag. The four chevrons represent the four presidents carved at Mount Rushmore.

Reposting my old flag redesigns - Today: "Star Garnet Flag" - Proposed for Idaho in 2019.

The star is based on the Star Garnet, the Idaho's state gem, found only in two places of the world, India and Idaho. The white pale represents the Snake river plain and valleys; the two green pales represent the mountains and hills that surround the state. This design is also related with the Idaho's nickname: The Gem State.
