4 year old Border collie
I’m between yes and no to getting 2 brothers - 4 year old pedigree border collies. They are beautiful and have every trait I would want in a dog. We wouldn’t have to travel far to collect them and have the perfect amount of space for them. We also live right next to a beach ( about a 5 minute walk) and they are said to love swimming.
The only concerns I have is that
The dogs since puppies, have been with the owners, raised and loved. I’m concerned because of this they won’t be so open, considering they have spent so long with other people. I’m also concerned that 4 is maybe a bit old.
I really don’t know, I love dogs, iv have done research and I am against breeders which is why I prefer to rescue/ adopt. I just always thought I would raise them from puppies
