Ichidai FanFic
Credit to whoever posted the Ichidai High Coach appreciation post.
After seeing that post and some of the comments, I had the sudden thought that Eijun might have been better off going to Ichidai Sankou.
With that in mind, is this something the fandom would be interested in? I literally just had the idea, and it’ll be my first fanfic, so some advise and/or ideas would be appreciated. All I’ve got so far is that it’ll probably be a regression type fanfic (don’t see why he’d end up at Ichidai otherwise).
Either he’d regress immediately after the ichidai loss in spring, or an alternate reality where Boss Kataoka follows Coach Ochiai’s advise and still gives Furuya the ace number.
Alternatively, he could make a childhood friend who introduces him to baseball and whose father used to play for Ichidai, but thats slightly a ripoff of a fanfic I’ve read before and I wouldn’t want to offend anyone.
If you guys are interested here’s a poll to gauge how you’d prefer me to approach it.
Edit: I mean that he would regress to before he was scouted by Rei and then decide to go to Ichidai to make his own path and compete as rivals with Furuya as an opponent rather than a teammate.
