anki settings

Hey everyone, I’m new to Anki and I’m pretty confused about the settings lmao.

I downloaded the MileDown deck organized by Kaplan chapters. I suspended everything, then unsuspended only the cards for Kaplan Biology Chapter 4 (nervous system), which has 56 cards total. But when I study, Anki is only showing me 20 cards lol.

How do I make Anki show all 56 cards? Which setting controls that — “new cards/day” or something else?

And what should I set my daily limits to? I’ve seen people recommend:

- 100 new cards/day

- 9999 limits

- different review limits

What do those actually mean? Is “100” referring to 100 new cards only, or 100 total cards including reviews?

Basically, what settings would you recommend for someone starting MCAT Anki with the MileDown deck?

Anki feels way more complicated than I expected 😭 so any help would be much appreciated!

edit: and lets say I do the endocrine system tmr and want to go over the associated anki. Would I get a mix of anki cards of endo+neuro tmr?

Anki style

Do u guys think it’s beneficial overall to use 1. Fill in the blank decks or 2. Classic front and back decks?

Best anki decks

What's the best anki decks to use as of 2026?

I've heard of Miledown (for c/p)

Jack Sparrow (best for b/b) which is based on idk what

Pankow (best for p/s?)

I've also heard of Anking, which apparently has all of them?

Which one should I use

Hi everyone! This might be a dumb question, but shd we know how to interpret the results of the Schrödinger equation?

I mean things like probability density plots, boundary surface plots, radial factors, radial electron density graphs, and radial distribution plots.

I remember learning about them in first-year gen chemistry, but I’m guessing they’re probably pretty low yield?
