DID YOU KNOW THIS ABOUT MSW?

Before 2016, the episode Funeral At Fifty-Mile didn't air on Italian TV on their first run (in the 80s) because it was deemed unsuitable for the Italian audience (the show initially aired on state owned broadcasting, RAI, specifically the second one, RAI DUE. It later moved on the privately owned broadcasting, Mediaset, on its channel RETE 4 but until 2016, Funeral At Fifty-Mile wasn't available with Italian dub).

This direction was taken mainly for Jessica's decision at the end, the topic and for the time slot (it aired around lunchtime/noon unlike evenings in the USA).

Also, many were unhappy with the later dub since Angela Lansbury's historical Italian dubber, Alina Moradei, died some time before and was replaced. I was weirded out with the new voice, but at the end I appreciated the work behind it and that the episode finally saw the light.

Did you know about it? Any thoughts?
