I found you all alone and scared at my local pet store. I immediately fell in love. I was slightly unprepared for you to come home but we made the best of it. We got you a proper cage and toys. You only really care about 3 toys. Each of them had their very specific "home" that they belonged in. Any time I cleaned and moved them they would be returned as soon as you got your little paws on them.
From the moment you came home you were always curious and explored tour surroundings. You were sweet and my little cuddle bug. I will miss your cuddles and your sweet kisses. I will Miss the feeling of you "grooming" me when you thought I must have been too dirty.
When I bought a new side table you figured out you could get into the drawer from under/behind. Before I had a chance to put anything in it you claimed it as yours. I filled it with blankets and a bed and since that day it was your favorite napping spot.
For about 3 years you live the solo life with me for many reasons out of our control. Then you had the ho or of meeting your baby sister Lola. At first you were unsure of who this "strange" creature was in your house. However, you took to her very quick and welcomed her to our home.
You loved meeting new people when we went on our many field trips to the store and always made people smile. Your sister and I will Miss you. Fly high my sweet girl.❤️
I don't even know where to start. I have tried to write this a few times now and am just struggling.
My sweet girl Max passed away in my arms last night.
I went to put her to bed in her cage and she was acting a little wierd. I assumed she was just very tired. As I was holding her she started to have a what I assume was a seizure and then she was gone. It happened so quick I did not know how to react.
She had not shown any signs that anything could have been wrong she was a little over 5 1/2 years old. I am just a wreck thinking I missed a sign that could have saved her. I feel like I failed her.
From the day you came home you were full of so much love and were my sweet little cuddle bug. You were always so curious and unlike your sister you were not really a "stasher" except for 1 very specific little toy. I will miss your kisses and you "grooming me"
I am a Rollercoaster of emotions right now. Planning on taking her for cremation first thing Monday morning. Just knowing that she is here but not really here is killing me. I held her for so long last night just hoping that she would move.
Me and your sister Lola are going to miss you so very much.
