My wife and I are looking to move to Oak island. I’m 35 and my wife is 33. We have a young son and another on the way. We love the beach life and are strongly considering oak island. But we are worried that there really isn’t a strong “year round” community that’s in our age range with a young family. So we are considering Southport as well. Any insight on this area or maybe even suggesting other towns. We are open to feedback. Thanks !
