What do you think is actually missing from the fitness scene?

I’ve been exploring the fitness space lately and noticed something I’m curious about.
There are plenty of gyms, fitness studios, running clubs, fitness events, etc. But as someone who wants to get into fitness, I sometimes feel like finding the right place/community is harder than it should be.
For example:
Which gym is actually beginner-friendly?
Which ones are too crowded during peak hours?
Which gyms are women-friendly?
Where can you find a good fitness community, not just equipment?
Are fitness events actually useful, or are they mostly social/fun events?
Do people actually care about reviews and experiences before choosing a gym?
I’m working on something around this space, but before building anything, I genuinely want to understand the problem.
If you could improve ONE thing about the fitness scene in your city, what would it be?

We’re collecting some data on how people actually view gyms.

When choosing a gym, do **genuine reviews and member experiences** actually matter to you?
Or do you mostly care about **price, location and equipment**?
Or is the gym simply **not that important a part of your life** — you just need a place to workout?
Curious to know how people actually think about this. 😌

Fitness Events in Patna

Has anyone here attended any of the fitness events happening in Patna recently?
I’ve seen Patna Run Club, Only Runs, Patna Social Cult and SOL doing fitness/community events.
If you’ve actually attended any of these, how was your experience?
Were these events genuinely fitness-focused, or are they more like fun/social events with fitness activities added in?
Would love to hear some honest experiences — what was good and what could have been better?

I recently went to a gym and, honestly, I didn’t really feel like I was being treated properly as a beginner

I recently went to a gym and, honestly, I didn’t really feel like I was being treated properly as a beginner. It made me wonder — is taking a PT actually necessary when you’re just starting out?
If you don’t want to take a PT, are there any good options to get a proper beginner workout chart + basic guidance from the gym itself?
I feel beginners can get pretty confused about what exercises to do, how many sets/reps, and whether they’re even doing the exercise correctly.
What did you guys do when you first started? Did you take a PT or figure it out yourself?
