Threatening to remove my door??
Hi, I don’t post much on Reddit so idk what I’m really doing… I’m 14F and am currently living in my mom’s boyfriend’s house with my mother, her boyfriend and my elder sister. My mother is in an abusive relationship with her BF so they argue and fight a lot, she’s been staying in my room cause he constantly argues with her at night, purposefully wakes her up or tries to force sex on her, and today (about an hour or two ago) he was yelling at her again from outside my door, and he started threatening her by saying he’d remove my door. He does own the house, but my mom pays all the bills and buys nearly everything, he also has no custody over me since he is just her boyfriend, they aren’t engaged or anything. He’s threatened to call state troopers multiple times because she’s refusing to sleep with him in the bedroom and he’s also trying to kick us out by the end of the month. I was wondering if it was illegal in anyway to remove my bedroom door? I wanna emphasize that I’m a 14 year old girl, it sounds kinda weird to me. I’m in NJ if that helps. I have no one to talk to about this
