Paying for ZEE5 Premium just to get "limited ads" is ridiculous — why isn't there a single truly ad-free tier?
When I originally signed up for ZEE5's top-tier plan (Premium / 4K All Access), the entire selling point was an uninterrupted, ad-free experience. Now, they've quietly slipped in "limited ads" even on paid premium accounts.
Getting hit with pre-roll and mid-roll ads during movies and series after paying for an annual top-tier subscription is absurd. If budget or bundled partner tiers have ads to subsidize costs, fine. But there should be at least one clear, dedicated plan that guarantees zero ads.
What is the point of paying for a premium subscription if we're treated like free-tier users with a timer? OTT platforms in India seem to be copying the worst cable TV habits—charging upfront for the connection and then running commercials anyway.
Is anyone else seeing ads creep up on their 4K/annual plans? Are people actually renewing under these terms, or is it time to drop the platform entirely?
