

Statue stolen from Glenmere Park
Per the Greeley Police FB page:
🚨 URGENT: STOLEN STATUE FROM GLENMERE PARK 🚨
We are reaching out to the community for help in locating a beloved piece of local art. On Tuesday, May 12, at approximately 2:30 PM, a life-size bronze statue, called The Prize Catch, was stolen from Glenmere Park.
🕵️ Details of the Incident
The suspect(s) reportedly cut the statue off at the feet to remove it from its base. A white box truck was spotted in the immediate area at the time of the theft and is believed to be involved.

If you were in the Glenmere Park area this afternoon, please think back:
Dashcam/Security Footage: Do you have a home security system or dashcam that might have captured a white box truck or suspicious activity between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM?
Scrap Yards: We are asking local metal recyclers to keep a sharp eye out for bronze material that appears to be part of a statue.
Sightings: Did you see anyone loading heavy equipment or a large object into a truck near the park?
