title, ok so as someone who likes a strong matcha or hojicha and doesn’t like spending 10 dollars on a pale beige matcha but also doesn’t want to go all the way down to la to get some niche blend. Oleander and palm (the cute little boutique store across the downtown cafe smitten) has Rocky’s matcha and hojicha in stock usually and a few smaller brand simple syrups. I really recommend going there if yall want to try those things! They also have a few smaller brand perfumes which made me stop and 👀 idk also if any of yall know any cafes that don’t skimp on the matcha or use house made syrups pls lmk im so tired of spending 10 dollars on a matcha that’s like the concept of the shade of green drowned in Starbucks vanilla syrup.

The title but I always have to go down to La :( we only have Sephora and Ulta here afaik I don’t know if we have any independent stores that mix their own oils or perfumes like Los callejones do in dtla but I need someone to open up a place like the scent room or scent bar in Bakersfield I wish we had an indie perfume scene here I would be their first customer but besides my complaining if yall know any small businesses that mix their own perfumes/perfume oils that are inspired by other perfumes or any niche perfume stores that I missed out on pls lmk 🙏

Title :’) I’m trying to be more social but it’s like hard to just make friends on the fly for me. Are there any social clubs or volunteer groups or so on yall like? I have a lot of interests so I’m pretty down for almost anything. I am just not a runner so unless the run club is welcoming to slow joggers or walkers I’m probably not gonna fit in lol
