I just finished the new story and are we surprised, it was the same waifubondingslop as usual… the female character pushes herself to exhaustion, Rover goes "Oh nooo poor baby, it’s okay I understand you" and Kuro adds hugging/holding hands moments that make 0 sense and feel extremely forced. Then Jingran gets absolutely nothing, even though he met all the criteria to be amazing during the quest…? How is his banner supposed to sell if he only had 2 seconds of screen time?

If any male players read this, I want to ask, do you genuinely enjoy this kind of fanservice??? I just don’t get the appeal. See, Yangyang’s confession and moments with Rover actually make sense to me, since she’s our day one and we shared a lot of moments together. I love Rover x Yangyang, I find it really cute and comforting. But then it gets ruined as a new woman appears out of nowhere and Rover gets touchy feely with her… so awkward.

And unfortunately, some of the male players in the community are toxic to death and will insult your entire family tree if you dare ruin their harem fantasy by mentioning a male character. Sadly because of them, I’m afraid the game will never improve in that regard. Sure, this game’s main audience is men, I accept that reality. But that doesn’t change the fact that there’s female players as well, why ignore them?

For example, Genshin which is the top1 gacha game: They have Scaramouche, who dominates even Raiden in terms of amount of fan art. Or Flins, who was second best banner revenue in Nod Krai. This proves that yes, male characters can sell if you put at least an ounce of effort into them. But it feels like Kuro is being held at gunpoint to make male characters. If they stopped releasing them, I wouldn’t even notice a difference. Don’t even get me started with Scar and Geshu Lin.

I had high expectations for the game’s future when I first started in 1.1. But now the story feels generic, repetitive, hard carried by beautiful cinematics and gets more boring every time. It’s frustrating to see so much good designed characters getting reduced to having almost no content or being outshined by another character. (this applies to female characters as well)

I hope more people complain and that it’ll reach Kuro, even though I have 0 hope. Because I adore this game’s gameplay and visuals, but what I just listed makes it hard to enjoy sometimes. ;(

-starting off i have many interests but my main one is probably video games at least as of right now. my favorite game genres are gacha games, rhythm games and visual novels. I like hsr, arknights, Pokemon and touhou the most. Other plain stuff i like are music of course i love all genres but my favorites are rock, metal, pop and osts, i really like loathe at the moment. i like pets, art and just regular stuff I could add more but i'm lazy and have no idea what else to put so we'll see in dms and im always open and curious to discover or hear about what people enjoy so feel free to tell me about it. im also ok with ranting/venting ^^
