Is it bad for my battery to be discharged for so long?
UPDATE: Even though Tesla said only the Powerwall 2 will be replaced, I contacted support and they said both Powerwalls will be replaced, so I’m glad to hear that! So I guess my question is answered.
I have Tesla solar as well as a Powerwall 2 and Powerwall+. My Powerwall 2 was subject to the recall due to potential cell failure. Tesla discharged my entire system (Powerwall 2 and Powerwall+) until they replace my Powerwall 2 with a Powerwall 3. However, my Powerwall+ isn’t being recalled or replaced, and is just sitting empty for about 3 months until they were able to schedule the replacement. Is it bad for the Powerwall+ to be discharged and sitting empty for so long?
