what exactly determines a card’s rarity?

perhaps i’m being pessimistic, but i’ve been noticing a lot of cards getting “legendary” status when they’re kinda… nothing burgers. take this cam little field goal for example: jaguars were up 7-3 before this took place, still in the first half (albeit almost to halftime), slightly above average distance for this season (current average is 40-42yds for a fg) AND the jaguars ended up losing the game by more than a fg anyway.

compare that to matt gay’s lead taking, longer distance, and fourth quarter fg only being rare, for example.

weird loops in copper piping

hey everyone, my mom and I are looking to replace some of the copper piping in our basement with PEX-B, and we were confused on what these loops were for. for reference, the two lines going straight down are supplying our washing machine, and the two lines branching right from the tees are supplying a wash basin next to the washer. From what we’ve googled, expansion loops seem like the most likely answer, and if this is the case, should we basically copy what we see here? we’re handy, but not actual plumbers in any sense of the word, and hiring a plumber is pretty much out of the question due to high costs in the area. any help is greatly appreciated, even if it’s just a link for do’s and dont’s for plumbing with PEX. TIA!
