Decises to go for a quick decal session, ended up playing around with it for an hour

Though the building experience is rather painful, Im blown away with how good the final product looks. Insane articulation makes it hard for me to put them away, so I decided to go for a photo sessions

Looking forward to the new Xeno kits so I can make a combat scene.

I posted this custom HG Xi a couple of times in this sub but this is what I had envisioned when I started customizing the kit. I saw a similar style posted on the internet too, so this is just my personal take on it.

Slide 1 is inspired by Hi nu Verka box art.

Slide 2 is inspired from the gundam xi wiki page (i think one of the concept art).

Slide 3-4 is just my own take following the design of the previous two.

No gen AI involved in creating this, only my phone, my pc and Canva (I know I'm a pleb). Hope you all enjoy it!

It took some time to get it done, but I'm glad that it's finally completed.

Paints used: Doloha acrylic markers (did some sanding for the paint to stick)

Waterslide decals : Chinese 3rd party/ BL (copy ghost)

Final topcoat: Mr.hobby superclear Matt.

Saw some amazing Xi Gundams with the Katoki color scheme floating around and figured I'd take a crack at it myself using only acrylic markers.

Still halfway there but I gotta say, pretty happy with how it's turning out so far.
