Coming from Kannur during Onam weekend: Where to park car and roam

Planning to come to Kozhikode during the weekend(22 or 23) before onam, with family.
Expecting high traffic and want to avoid taking car inside the city.
Looking for suggestions for places to park the car while coming from Kannur side.

- easy to get auto from and back to
- pay n park is fine
Additional details
- planning to visit - SM street, Hotel Rahmath, topform, KBC
- in previous visit parked at Muthalakkulam area.
