Anyone explored anonymous parts of the internet? Curious about your experience.
I’ve been thinking about how people behave differently when they’re more anonymous online, and it made me curious about experiences beyond the “normal” internet.
If you’ve ever explored more anonymous spaces (even just out of curiosity), what was it like for you? What drew you there, and how did it feel compared to regular browsing?
I’m especially interested in the behavioural side—do you think anonymity changes how people think or act? For example, does it make people more open, more cautious, or even more experimental?
Also curious about trust—without familiar brands or identities, what makes something feel reliable (or not)?
Would love to hear any experiences or reflections you’re comfortable sharing (keeping things general, of course).
From a consumer psychology perspective, it’s fascinating to ask:
How does behaviour change when identity and social judgement are reduced?
