To be more specific (and will probably venture into spoiler territory), the twins were told they were gonna move out and in a panic since they didn’t want to, they hid in a boat (and set sail?) but a storm hit, and his twin fell overboard and was never found.

That is honestly the only part of the story I remember, and I’m not even too sure if it’s a twin brother or just a brother. I can’t remember what else happens in the book. I know the dock of where the boat was originally docked at became central to the healing of that MC sometime in the story, but what else I can’t really remember. EDIT: I think they may have had a single mother(?) or the surviving twin lived with his single aunt(?) and they were dirt poor.

Asking this question since I’m just starting {The Storm by Briar Prescott} and a thought came into my head on what if this is the lost twin’s story, but the first book {The Island by Briar Prescott} is irrelevant to this (I think?).
