Hi! I’m a medical student with SSD (congenital) so I’ve lived with this all my life. I don’t have a hearing aid since I guess it’s not compatible with my hearing loss?

I’m in my fourth year and planning on applying to emergency medicine. Is it recommended to tell my attending during rotations about my hearing loss or could it possibly sway them from accepting me for residency in the future? Thanks! Also I gotta say it’s amazing to see y’all in this sub <3
