Reimbursement via Zelle, how to categorize?

My daughter sends me money each month using Zelle for her share of car insurance and cell phone, which I pay for.

How do I enter this as a recurring amount? It's not really income but an offset to an expense (but its split - insurance and cell phone).

We both use BofA, should I have her send me money via BofA instead?

What do you use to monitor your monthly expenses?

Hi folks,

I’m 56M with wifey 58. I’ve been reading about folks using calculators to figure out their savings and annual budget but it got me wondering - what can I use to monitor my monthly spend so I stay within that budget? Is there any chance app that people use to connect to their bank or CC? Do people put most of their expenses on a CC and monitor the spend through that app? I’m concerned that spend will surprise me compared to my monthly budget allocation.

Any suggestions welcome. Thx.

Struggle with reserve

I’m looking to sell my 2017 Tacoma that is pretty heavily modified. I know I won’t get what I paid ($36,700) or the mods ($47,000) but I saw on BaT that two nice, heavily modified Tacomas fetched $52-$61K last year. I think a reserve of $40,000 is fair but BaT said no reserve. How do I get a reserve here on C&B so that I’m protected? Or where else can I go?
