The most underrated scene in the whole series and they will never speak about this in season 3 either 🥲

The most underrated scene in the whole series and they will never speak about this in season 3 either 🥲

So this scene happens the night before Ravi's marriage.

Radhi initiates the conversation with Dev about them attending marriage the next day. She was smiling at the start of the conversation and when Dev said that he was not interested in coming there because Rina would be there - Radhi's face drastically changed.

Her face reaction revealed that she was literally broken for the way things were going between Rina and Dev.

The next day Radhi too didn't go to the wedding. She calls Divi and asks whether Appa said anything about Rina to you. (She was afraid whether any other encounter happened between them again)

I think Radhi might have thought like this while conversing with Dev - how would I say the truth about Rina to Dev and bring my daughter to my house.

What do you think about this scene???

Did Radhi have panic attack here🤔

In episode 96, Vijay confronted Radhi and went out. Even after Vijay left the frame, this frame was shown for about 4-5 seconds and Radhi's voice was heard like gasping for breath. So I felt like she had a panic attack. Am I the only one who felt this🥲

Unpopular opinion: Radhi's emotions are often explained through dialogues, not scenes👀

One thing I’ve noticed throughout the series is that most of Radhi’s pain is spoken about through dialogues...but rarely shown directly to us.

We often hear

• She suffered a lot

• She felt terrible after that

• She broke down

But many times, the audience never actually gets to SEE those moments from Radhi’s POV.

For example:

• RK sir said to Rina, Radhi cried for you. But we were never shown such scenes.

• After suspending Rina, TR tells Rina that Radhi felt really bad about it. But we never got a direct scene of Radhi feeling for Rina. (TBH I badly expected a scene when TR told that dialogue to Rina)

• Radhi while talking to Rina before her surgery tells some of her emotional struggles and how she gave birth to her. But, lack of direct scenes there too.

• Even the support she offered to her interns and other hospital staff are often implied through other people’s dialogues instead of direct scenes.

And I honestly think this is a very intentional writing style.

The writer seems to have written Radhi as an emotionally “withheld” character - someone the audience slowly pieces together instead of fully understanding immediately.

But sometimes I wonder…

WHAT IF THE STORY HAS SHOWN RADHI'S STRUGGLES FIRST?

What if we had seen:

• Her loneliness

• Her guilt

• Her fear

• Her emotional damage

• The trauma of a 14-year-old mother

BEFORE the daughter reveal happened?

I genuinely feel the audience would have viewed their relationship very differently.

Instead of: “Why is she behaving like this?”

People might have thought: “Radhi never really healed from what happened".

Instead of "Selfish Radhi"

People might have said “Radhi wasn’t heartless…she was carrying wounds no one fully saw.”

The story would have become less about judging a mother and more about watching two emotionally broken people find each other again.

I’m not saying Radhi was perfect. But I do feel the writing style made audiences judge a 14 year old mother before understanding her pain.

Do you think viewers would have seen Radhi differently if the show had emotionally introduced HER STRUGGLES FIRST? 👀

Vijay's Reason vs Radhi's Reason

Just had a thought...

Vijay while confronting Radhi at her house shouted "Kaarana m---- ellam sollitu irukeenga..."

But what about bro's kaarana m---- for not coming to Radhi 25 years back???

When Radhi came to Vijay's house, he said some lame reason for not coming to Radhi on that day and Radhi even accepted that reason, understanding his situation (even after all those trauma she went through at such a young age).

Did RK sir treat Rina when she had her first panic attack????💭

This might sound strange😄 but

when Rina said to Radhi in s1 8th episode that she came to know that she suffered panic attack only when some doctor told her that on the next morning.

And

when RK sir saw Rina for the first time said the dialogue "unna engeyo paatha mathiri iruke maa"....

I got this weird thought😁

Sharing this here so that I can get this out of my mind🥲

Am I the only one who feels like young Rina’s face slightly resembles Radhi’s mother in the photo frame?

As season 3 shoot started, I am just curious to know the answers for these questions. What if Thiyagarajan...

1) What if Thiyagarajan abandoned Radhi for her decision to go with Vijay at 14 and left her there?

  1. What if Thiyagarajan told the truth to Vijay(that they left the child in orphanage) when he saw him at his house after two years?
