We can have more Vanguards. There are plenty of interesting characters to choose from.
u/_ipsumLorem brought up an interesting analysis of the distribution of duelists compared to vanguard and strategists:
In it they found that the ratio is 25%Vanguard, 25%Strategist and 50%Duelist. That split is unreasonable as we still struggle to find players willing to play tank or strategist. My solution: Only Vanguards and Strategists until we get a 33% split. Here are 24 random marvel heroes/anti-heroes that would easily work as a Vanguard. Discuss amongst yourselves if they work for you and what type of Vanguards they could be. A Princess Powerful frontline vanguard? Let's do it. Beast as a dive vanguard? Makes sense.
