Double-pointed SHARP needle over 1ft/30cm long with eye at one end. What could this be used for?
Was the odd one out, hiding in an old collection of double-pointed knitting needles. Both ends are VERY sharp even though they're a bit bent. Don't know what kind of metal but it's pretty strong, probably steel. Was this maybe used for sewing upholstery, heavy duty leather, rope splicing, something else specialized? Why two points?
