how much does it matter when you make a league?
Essentially, I used to play a lot and got better and progessed enough to get into ranked. Eventually I was able to hit champions league but I could never get over the hurdle of having no golden steps and thus I got stuck there. I think maybe 4 seasons in a row I couldn't get it, the highest step I was able to reach was 8.
I didnt play for about 6 months and just started playing again the last 2 weeks of the season and I went from 12k to 13k trophies and also his champion. Last few days we're spent flirting with grand champion and I finally just hit it.
My question is, how much does it matter that I was only ever able to hit grand champion the last day of this season versus previously having a week or two and not being able to do it? I assume the people I'm playing against are like me, lower tiered ranked players who have never hit UC.
