Teeny tiny crack on my snails shell !

Hello snail community!! Recently I noticed a small crack on my giant african land snails shell, it doesn't go deep and i'm not really worried about it. However, it would ease my mind a little bit if there is anything I can do to help the fella out. He's a bit younger than my other snail, but I'm really bad at estimating his approximate age (if that matters at all). There is a cuttlefish bone inside of their terrarium and I provide protein every week + vary their diet.
If there's really nothing I can do besides wait, that's okay too! I just need some input from people who probably know a lot more than I do.
(Bonus photo of them included, love these fat little things so much...)

I recently handled my oldest gal (≈ 5 months) and discovered he had some small black bug/mite looking things crawling right where his shell meets the body. Is there a safe way to get rid of them without hurting him?
