i knew my hair would fall out but now it's actually happening.

weeeelllpppp...after 16 weeks of cold capping during keynote 522, i'm finally losing a significant amount of hair. i had my second of four AC infusions last week and my hair has just been falling out relentlessly for the past week.

i knew it was coming. i didn't expect my hair to last through AC because i've read the stats...but, damn, it is an absolute gut punch regardless. it's been an emotional day to say the least.

on the bright side, my boss took me to lunch to help cheer me up and it was a nice distraction for an hour. only 2 more to go.

Our pool turned into an accidental frog nursery and this barred owl and its mate have had a blast hunting the tadpoles and young frogs.

BM help ugggghhh

Has anything helped you with softer/easier BMs?

I start taking Colace the day before my infusion and take it for 3 days after but it's not really helping in regards to softening it. Since starting chemo, my stool has been all broken up and very hard. I have hemorrhoids now too and I can't help but strain because it hurts so dang much. I use Tucks and hydrocortisone to help with that. I also go every day so I know I'm not constipated.

I even take a fiber supplement (have taken one even before diagnosis) and eat a fair bit of high fiber foods and drink lots of water.

I just don't know how to get it softer or more solid and I am legit fighting for my life every time I have a BM. Reminds me of my first poop after having my kid. My booty would appreciate any tips for what helped you. 😂😭😒

my poor gums

I've only had 2 TC and 1 Keytruda treatments and my gums are already ON FIRE. They are so swollen and irritated.

MO called me in the magic mouthwash stuff and I absolutely can't wait to use it tonight. Right now, ice water and Tylenol are keeping it at a dull pain. I've already switched to Biotene toothpaste.

I can't say I expected this side effect out of all the potential ones I read about.
