Got an interview at UNIQLO after countless job applications, what’s it actually like working there?
After countless job applications and getting rejected/no responses, I finally landed an interview with UNIQLO.
I’ve honestly always wanted to work for UNIQLO, and it’s one of those companies where I could genuinely see myself working. But after looking around online, I’ve been seeing quite a few negative reviews about the workplace. Some people have mentioned toxic management, being underpaid, mistreatment from management, crazy workloads, and some pretty ridiculous policies.
So I’m wondering. what is it actually like working at UNIQLO? Especially if you’re a current or former employee, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. I’m mainly interested in the store environment, management, workload, pay, and overall work-life balance.
I’m also pretty nervous because my interview is this Friday and it’s a group interview. I’m a very introverted person and usually more of a listener. I can be pretty shy in group settings, especially when I’m around people I don’t know, so I’m worried my personality might hold me back from getting the job.
I really want this job though, so I’m trying my best to prepare for it.
Would love to hear from anyone who currently works or has worked at UNIQLO. good or bad experiences are welcome. I’d rather know what I’m getting myself into before accepting anything.
PS: For anyone who has interviewed at UNIQLO before, what was the interview process like? How many people were in the group, what kind of questions did they ask, and was there anything you wish you had prepared beforehand? Is the group interview more of a discussion/activity, or is it basically everyone answering questions one by one?
I really want this job, so I’m trying my best to prepare and not completely embarrass myself lol
