When I go actively looking for moths/bugs I never find any. When I'm not looking for them they appear randomly outside the staff door at my job. Definitely worth it though.

Got a photo op with Karen Fukuhara (Kipo's VA) while in my Wolf cosplay!

I had tickets for Fan Expo and saw that Karen Fukuhara would be making an appearance. Since I figured most people going know her from The Boys and because I don't hear too many people talk about KataoW these days, I thought going as Wolf would be a nice change of pace ! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who recognized me though :)

Bones smell even worse while degreasing, is that a good or bad sign?

So I have some turtle bones I've been degreasing for about a week now just using dish soap and tap water. At first the water didnt seem to get too cloudy or yellow. In the past couple of days though, I've tried to make sure to use heated water and more Dawn, and the water now gets noticeably cloudy and yellow.

With that however, I've noticed that the bones seems to smell almost worse than they did when I first got them. They seem a little more yellow-ish than before as well. Is this a sign of like, the grease/fat being drawn out of the bones or something? Or am I doing something wrong? I'm like 98% sure I got all of the flesh and whatnot off of them, but I swear it gets more rancid smelling by the day. Thanks for any advice!

Sidewalk bone pile. Anyone know what animal these are from? Northern Illinois

Was leaving an event at a local park today when I saw this. Thought it was a pile of woodchips but then looked closer and realized it was an odd pile of bones. Varied in sizes, ranging from an inch to maybe about 6 inches in length. They were under a tree and close to a pond, if that means anything. Sorry the pics aren't great, was in a bit of a rush. Thanks in advance!

Tiny toads that I saw on my walk today? [Illinois]

Was out bird watching today and saw a bunch of these tiny toads/frogs on the trail that were so small I originally thought they were bugs. Anyone know what kind they are? This first one was on a gravel part of the trail not too far from water and fields, the rest were in the middle of the woods.
