Best way to navigate between towns at lake Como when online tickets are "sold out"?
Our hotel is in Lenno, and we figured we could hop on a ferry like a metro and get to Bellagio. However, it sounds like the ferry system is a complete mess duting peak season? We checked for tickets online and everything isbsold out And we're being told we can still buy tickets in person, but it's first come first serve and that the ferry only does that route once every few hours, and they stop running at 8pm or so. How the hell are we supposed to get to bellagio for dinner, then expect to be able to get back to our hotel for the evening? Am I missing something?
