Y’all wanna see the guts of the AC30C2 I modded?
Any questions? Yes, the caps are clipped in so I could easily swap in different values without having to desolder repeatedly. I figured if it was good enough for high voltage ribbon cables, it would be fine for caps. And it’s been working just fine for a couple years now.
Here’s a demo. Tele plugged straight in. Scumback SC75 Scumnico speakers in the cab. Sounds pretty good I think.
