Welcome to Solaris, a BRAND NEW Minecraft SMP experience! This is currently a small community of adults who just love Minecraft and are excited to meet new people and share the joys of gaming.
We have yet to officially launch so you have the opportunity to get in right as we start up!
What is Solaris SMP?
Solaris is a small server focusing on an ‘enhanced’ vanilla Minecraft experience. We are open to and excitedly welcome players of all kinds – builders, miners, redstoners, the world is truly your oyster in Solaris! We will be running a ‘lore-optional’ experience, wherein there will be some small story arcs which can be engaged with if your heart desires, or you can choose instead to simply focus on your farms, builds, and exploration.
Modded or Vanilla?
Though we market it as semi-vanilla, the experience is realistically entirely vanilla, as you can opt in or out of our modpack. The mods are curated to provide a vanilla-plus experience, with Voice Chat, some cosmetic tweaks, a live map, and a few other small quality-of-life mods. The modpack is extremely simple to download and set up, and is done through Modrinth.
Who is welcome?
Almost anyone who is willing and excited to engage with our server! We will be using a whitelist, which allows our team to curate a safe and welcoming environment for all, and importantly, our server is *19+ ONLY*. Solaris is a server made by adults, for adults. Finally, most importantly of all: THIS SERVER IS LGBTQIAP+ FRIENDLY! Almost our entire staff is a part of the community, and we value inclusivity above all else.
Main features:
- A custom-built spawn city for you to explore and enjoy.
- Custom NPC shops using our Solaris-exclusive currency, allowing for players of ALL playstyles to have equal opportunities within the game economy (no need to brave the mines to find diamonds for purchasing goods!)
- Optional lore and lore-related events, for those who love a good story (and mystery!).
- An opt-in voice chat mod to encourage connection within the server.
- Custom map claims on our web-based world map, so your home remains YOUR home.
- Daily fishing events with unique fish to catch and collect.
