Overheating

It has been a little more than a month since I bought my Iphone 17 pro and I immediately thought that it was heating too much. At first I associated it with the fact that the phone is new and that happens when the system regulates itself, but I don’t know now.

My phone gets pretty warm quite often and I don’t know if this is normal to expect, it’s not burning hot but still quite unpleasant to hold in your arms. My battery is at 100% and my adaptive charging is on and i do frequently get the notifs that my phone is switching to another charging mode but i got the notifications that the phone is way too hot only 1-2 times.

How normal is it for this to happen with a new phone or this is some form of malfunction? Another questions I have is could it happen because of the phone case? I think I am also a victim of “another persons iphone” syndrome when i think that everyone else’s phone is better than mine even if they have some fuck ass Iphone X but still. I want to love this phone more than I do. So far i found the battery, the camera, the heating kind of overwhelming even though I had updated from iphone 11 pro max
