Joystick Gremlin question
Any joystick Gremlin Ninja's out there who can help?
I would like to hear from anybody who uses the axis merge "Maximum" functionality.
In practice how does this work? Is it basically "highest takes precedence"?
What I am looking to do is have one peripheral which would give me fine control for landing/docking in Elite Dangerous. (VKB Stecs space throttle) but also have a space grip set up for combat.
These are functionally the same set of axis (thruster) but obviously with different tensions set... (loose for combat to keep things fast, quite stiff for the landing/docking for fine tuned movement)
or am I over thinking it? Is there a better way in Gremlin? (like a mode switch which would inhibit the axis of one and activate the axis of another?)
