when I launch the game on steam,it started up fine til I press play and I all I saw was flashing images same thing for the title. it jost had the name flashing a bunch. is it the game or my computer and can I do something about it?

when I booted up the game on steam, it seemed fine until I press start and I just see flashing shapes and stuff. the game kinda worked I just could not see anything at all. is this a bug or is it just my computer?
