Free sourdough starter
I have 9 cups of sourdough starter today to give away at thoroughbread in Zilker! I’m going to write the weight of each one on the cup. If you know you’re going to come get one I can write your name on one to save it. Since I pre-portioned it y’all can come all the way until we close to pick it up! 🩷🍞 I really hate seeing it all go to waste.

How do I call in a welfare check?
I’m confused because 311 doesn’t have an option for welfare check but also it’s not an emergency so i feel like I shouldn’t call 911? I haven’t seen my neighbor leave their house in days and they’ve had a package outside of their door for 5 days. They’re a very very large individual who has trouble walking whenever I see them. I’m just concerned that something may have happened but they don’t know who I am. How can I call in or report online? TIA
Update 1: I filed a police report. I’m home alone with my kids so I can’t go over right now. It looks like someone else did move his package closer to the door. The entire time I’ve lived in this complex so has he and I’ve seen him regularly up until now. No trips or anything. His car has also not moved. I’m hoping this is just him taking some time off work or something. 😔
Update 2: he’s alive and in the hospital! They just called me back and told me they were able to contact him and he has been in the hospital all week apparently. I’m hoping whatever is wrong he has a speedy recovery in just glad it’s nothing worse 🩷🩷🩷
