What does notched peaks mean here like in V3 and V4?
I'm looking for any insight on my chances as I'm going through this completely alone. I'm a first time applicant with cGPA 3.37, sGPA 3.19, last 60 3.67 and postbacc 4.0 of 3 classes, PCE is 8,000+ hours, 300 hrs of teaching, 400 hrs research, 44 hrs shadowing, and 100 hrs volunteering. I'm an immigrant and first gen college grad, I've gotten several great feedbacks on my PS. do I have any realistic chances of getting in on my first try? I've applied to 15 schools so far (many reach schools tbh) and was planning on taking the GRE in a couple weeks to apply to 5 more.
In my personal statement, i start by talking about my experience of moving to the US at fifteen and is my theme for the essay in the beginning and the end and tie it to why I want to be a PA. I also talk briefly about inaccessible healthcare in my home country. Would it be okay to talk about it in more detail in life experience essay or is it bad to double dip the topic and highlight more lessons learned and why it would make me a great PA?
Edit: or should I change my PS altogether? ;(
I got credits for these through work experience for my MA class, they were not taken but are listed on my transcript.
I found my dream apartment and want to win it over. Is it a bad practice to offer to pay 150-200 more a month and/or two months of rent in advance? I have a great cs, reference, and good salary, but I really don't want to get passed on.
I live in Seattle where we have the first in time law, meaning that the first qualifying applicant must get the offer to move in. I applied for an apt directly with the owner on zillow after touring, at the time of touring, she informed me that she's showing it to more pppl over the weekend and will choose between one soon, i checked in again and she said she'll make a decision in a few days. She's clearly not aware of this law. Is there anything i can do to gently tell her? I really mightve been the first applicant as i toured it pretty early, but there's also no way for me to know. How should i proceed? It's truly a dream apt and don't want to lose it to someone that applied after me, but also don't want to be pushy and start off on the wrong foot
Edit: before i get questions asking if I actually qualify, yes I do
