Food resources on campus

Hey yall, just sharing the news that the food pantry on campus is open even if you're not an active student. They serve alumni, staff, and students as long as you have your SFSU affiliate ID

Also, if you live in SF and want to apply for CalFresh/EBT, the county is coming to the campus tomorrow. Contact the SFSU CalFresh team to schedule an appointment.

Apply for CalFresh, reduce your meal plan!

All undergraduate students may be eligible for CalFresh if they have no income, or have a gross income below $2,610 per month and you're a US citizen or a green card holder. Undergraduate students no longer have to meet work requirements to receive benefits! Grad students and certificate-only students do.

If you're living at home and you're under 22, you have to apply with your family, but if you're above the age of 22, you can apply on your own. Renting a space on your own, you can apply on your own too.

Already living in SF? Apply asap!!!

If you're housing on campus, you can change your meal plan to a 10-swipe meal plan by contacting the CalFresh team at Basic Needs, and you can apply as soon as you move into campus but let them know that you wanna apply so they can be ready in the fall.

If you're housing on campus in the summer the last day to change your meal plan is June 12. You'll need the CalFresh eligibility letter from the Calfresh team to change your meal plan.
