SRM really said "Welcome back to the 90s."
Just got a message that formal dress is now compulsory every working day.
No printed T-shirts.
No ripped jeans.
No shorts.
Formal shoes.
ID card mandatory (fair enough).
What's next? Hair length inspections? Black-and-white uniforms? 💀
We're engineering students spending hours in labs and classrooms, not employees attending board meetings. Professionalism is important, but forcing formals every single day feels unnecessary.
Curious what everyone else thinks.
Is this actually a good move, or is SRM going backwards?
